Christian Women's Job Corps of Southeast Texas
Christian Women's Job Corps of Southeast Texas is the place to be for volunteers wanting to share their faith with women in need and be blessed by being an encourager. Our vision is to encourage, educate, and give hope to our participants by sharing God's message of love with them and equipping them to become self-sufficient contributors in the community.
Each participant is matched with a trained mentor who helps her set goals and guides her through any transition difficulties.. These women often serve as role models because they emulate the faith, values, actions and self-motivation stressed in the CWJC program.
Teachers are selected for their expertise in specific life and job skills. Their attitudes are encouraging and their methods are proven. Through their direction, participants successfully learn new skills.
Volunteers, both men and women, fulfill various functions as they provide leadership, spiritual support, direction, administrative help and training.
Mentor training will be held on January 17 at 9:00 am at our Silsbee site, 270 HWY 96 South. Contact Linda Raney at 409-767-6901.
The spring session for CWJC will begin on February 7th at 8:30 am. Anyone wishing to receive life and job readiness skills should call 409-767-6901 to apply. All applications must be turned in by February 1st.
Volunteers are needed to work in various areas. Serving the Lord as a mentor means making a commitment for about 2 hours a week.
Thank you for supporting and giving to CWJC. God is using you to help make a difference in the lives of women in need.
