About Christian Women's Job Corps of Southeast Texas

The purpose of CWJC , a non-profit organization, is to provide life and job readiness skills for women with a Christian context. The program is designed for a classroom model with one on one mentoring. Some of the life and job skills offered are: GED, keyboarding, anger/stress issues, money management, parenting skills, health and hygiene, make-up tips and how to dress for the work place. CWJC networks with the Work Force Solutions who help with job readiness workshops.

Mission

The mission of Christian Women's Job Corps of Southeast Texas is to provide a Christian context in which women in need are equipped for life and employment.

Funding

CWJC of Southeast Texas is a non-profit 501(c)3 that operates with the financial support of donations and grants from community organizations, individuals, and businesses. "Cheerful givers" are needed. Area churches are given an opportunity to give a love offering to CWJC on Valentine's Day.

Networking

CWJC of Southeast Texas operates as an interdenominational ministry. CWJC site coordinators network with community agencies, health care providers and educators in order to provide the most comprehensive approach to meeting the needs of participants.
