Celebration/Recognition at the Silsbee Chamber of Commerce

The participants had a great time this session as they learned about God and how to trust Christ to satisfy their every need. In fact, there were four spiritual decisions, four re-commitments to Christ and one salvation. Participants were also involved in many other life and job skills in which volunteer instructors taught GED, Drivers Education, how to write a resume' and job interview skills. CWJC also had its first ever style show in which participants and mentors showed that women can dress for the work place on a shoe string budget. Another highlight this session was being able to honor Mrs. Pat Long for her many years of service in CWJC and as Board President along with welcoming Gail Husband as the Board of Directors new President.
